I had to immediately air the bedroom out with a large fan and lie down to recover. I don't know if the fumes are downright toxic, but I felt as if I had been poisoned! I felt faint and my lungs actually hurt. Let it fully air out for at least a week!īut you should warn customers of the horrible plastic smell of this unit!īoth the purifier AND the filter frame seem to be made of the same smelly plastic and both are stored wrapped in closed plastic bags inside the packaging during storage and shipping. Anyway I Highly Recommend both Seller and Product and will be purchasing 2 more units for the upstairs soon. The Seller Communication was excellent and follow up communication after the sale was very reassuring and much appreciated. Our home is surrounded by trees and plants even though we live in town. Oh,our allergies from outside air have all been almost nonexistent as well.
We were both amazed at how well these units performed and wish we had done this much sooner. We could tell the difference in the air quality in less than one half of an hour. We have one smoker, 2 cats and 2 small and 1 medium sized dog. I set up both units in less than a couple of minutes and put them where I had planed. It got here quickly and was well packaged so everything inside was in perfect condition.
I looked at and read reviews of a lot of large room air purifiers and decided on this one.
